ANNUAL REVIEWS AND REPORTS
All pupils with a Statement of special education need have an annual review, during which the pupil’s progress is discussed and the Statement is considered, as well as the continuing appropriateness of the placement.
Parents/carers attend the review meeting
and are asked to contribute their views
and comments.
IEPs (INDIVIDUAL EDUCATION PLANS)
The specific targets that each pupil works on are contained in
his/her IEP. This is reviewed and updated termly with a copy sent home for parents.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
We expect all pupils to respond to recognised standards of social behaviour as fully as they are able.
We promote positive patterns of behaviour, and use a functional analysis approach to support pupils in developing their skills and tolerance, so that they can manage their own behaviour.
At Dysart we do not tolerate any overt or covert form of racism or sexism from staff, pupils, parents or visitors.
